Violence against women is a REAL problem , this piece is dedicated to raise awareness that If you are being abused or know someone who is being abused, to know that you are NOT alone.

• the perpetrators of violence against women are almost exclusively men, sad to say that they are mostly men CLOSE to them;

• women are at greatest risk of violence from men they KNOW;

• women and girls are the most frequent victims of violence within the family and between INTIMATE partners;

• physical abuse in intimate relationships is almost always accompanied by SEVERE psychological and verbal abuse;
• social institutions put in place to protect citizens too often blame or IGNORE battered women.

Every year 400,00 women in Australia are affected and out of those 400,00 , 20% do NOTHING , that's 80,000 WOMEN that suffer in silence.
